Getting Started

  1. Introduction to Comfort Keepers

    During this initial phone call, you will learn about the following: the home care franchise industry; our company; and your role as a franchisee.

  2. Complete a Qualification Questionnaire

    Before moving forward, we will discuss with you completing our qualification questionnaire to begin the mutual evaluation process. Your information is confidential and will not be shared.

  3. Support Discussion

    Your franchise development specialist will have an in-depth discussion with you about the support you will receive as a Comfort Keepers franchisee.  This discussion of our world class support will include: our field based coaching program, advertising and marketing, the role of the franchise support center, software, licensure and other support provided.

  4. Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)

    The Federal Trade Commission requires franchisors to provide a disclosure document.  This document includes important information about your investment, along with a copy of the current franchise agreement.  Review this document carefully.  Your Franchise Development Consultant will schedule a follow-up call with you to answer any questions you have.

  5. Franchisee Calls

    At this point in the process, you should feel prepared to speak with our existing franchisees regarding their experience with Comfort Keepers.

  6. Meet the Team Day

    This is the final step in the mutual evaluation process.  You will spend a day in our Franchise Support Center with the opportunity to meet and interact with numerous members of our staff.

  7. Franchise Agreement Signing Day

    Upon signing of your franchise agreement, you will be introduced to your new franchisee business coach.

  8. Training

    You are now ready to begin your 5 weeks of new franchisee training. This training includes 4 weeks of coach led webinars and online training as well as one week at our Franchise Support Center.  Prior to opening, you will also spend time in an active Comfort Keepers office observing daily operations.

  9. Opening Day

    Congratulations!  It is now time to begin your journey as a franchise owner with Comfort Keepers. Remember, you are in business for yourself, but not by yourself.
